This kit contains fifty remedies chosen for acute and emergency situations, a very handy kit for travel. I have found that homeopathic remedies help relieve minor pain and discomfort and aid in calming a stressed, frightened or injured elephant. The remedies are easy to administer. Just dissolve the small pellet in water and spray or pour the liquid into the elephants' mouth. The remedy is nearly tasteless and most elephants readily open their mouth to receive it. Homeopathy is non pharmaceutical. We need one kit - 30C - $109.00
Thanks to Cathy, Cora, Margaret, Rose, Donna and Sandra, I have a fresh homeopathy kit to take to Asia. The elephants respond so well to a natural, non pharmaceutical approach to wellness. Thanks for helping needy elephants in this way. Namaste, Carol |

Carol is returning to Nepal early next month. One hundred elephants are scheduled to have pedicures; Man Kali and her baby son will be the next recipients of a chain-free yard; and plans will be laid for an elephant retirement home in Sauraha. But before setting up camp in Nepal, Carol will stop in Bangalore, India, to meet with collaborators of the proposed Bannerghatta Care Center, to learn what progress has been made. If Menaka has not been lured into the forest by the wild herd AGAIN, she will receive a pedicure along with other available elephants at the Bannerghatta Zoo. Then Carol flies to Guwahati, India, to provide pedicures for the elephant of the Assam Elephant Foundation. Additionally, a follow up meeting with officials is scheduled regarding the proposed Care Center in Assam. Next Carol flies to New Delhi, India, to meet again with the fabulous people at Wildlife SOS-India. Pedicures will be provided for the resident elephants and continued foot trimming tutoring for the veterinarians. Then it will be time to cross the border into Nepal, landing in Kathmandu. If everything goes as planned, the next leg of the trip will be to Bardia, where 17 elephants await pedicures. While in Bardia chain-free yard locations will be identified. The plan is to have the yards completed by March of next year. Any assistance you can provide with getting Carol where she needs to be for pedicures and meetings is sincerely appreciated. Thank you!
Martha underwrote $ 900 of the airfare to Asia. Now we only need to raise $1,838. What a fabulous start! Thanks so much Martha |

Travel Guard insurance handles all aspects of evacuation in case of emergency. Even though we work as safe as possible, accidents do happen. Having this emergency coverage is reassuring, especially since this work takes us to the other side of the planet. If you would like to help underwrite this expense please click on this link and then then click on the donate button. Thanks for your support. 09/10/2012Wow Martha, you are fabulous. You wasted no time underwriting my travel insurance. It sure feels good knowing you have my back! Thank you so much, Carol |

This six strand solar power fence is being supplied by IBEX Gallagher, the leading supplier of wildlife fencing in Asia. The fence is designed to safely keep wild elephants out and captive elephants in. Our first yard, Sweetie Kali's Pilot Project, was a huge success, dispelling the long held belief in Asia that power fencing cannot effectively contain captive elephants without them "going wild". Sweetie Kali proved the value of chain-free fencing which has improved her welfare 100%. Holding tanks, tower, water trough and plumbing for the chain-free yard are an additional $2,000. |
